OK. Looks like I'm the first. Not tunes, not songs. A remembrance of sorts, and an attempt to deal with a very difficult subject.
A set of field recordings I made while visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau last week, together with some accompanying text. It's called "Verhalte dich ruhig" and you can find it here.
Here's some lighter fare. Just finished discovering this gem inside me. This is my first take at it. Rhythm guitar, bass, drum loop. No lyrics, lead guitar, or any other embellishments right now. I play the guitar and bass. The drum loop is out of ACID Pro. Tracked and mixed in Pro Tools.
I am in a creative phase, and to be truthful, when I track a song it's generally the first time I've played it in the current form. The ideas come out of practicing, then a little development, then I record them so I don't forget.
Tranx is a 10-minute piece inspired by recent (prescription) drug experiences. It's on my music player or can be found at avantgardening. I'd be interested to hear what y'all think.
We've finally got around to releasing an album we've been working on for ten years (although admittedly we released CDRs and compilation tracks in the meantime)! The album is called Babylon Halt and official release date is 16 June. It's £10 including postage to anywhere.

I've uploaded a song, sung by Hadiqa Kiani from the album Rough Cut (Available on iTunes). I've mixed and mastered the song. It has one tabla, one acoustic guitar and vocals. The idea was to make it sounding rough and commercial as well. They've recorded it live, one take and in some jam session location. No studio used at the recording stage. I've done my best to make it sound BIG, pleasant and punchy.
Well its not my tune but I hope you would like my work !
