MTM Studio Net

I have installed snow leopard and installed the upgrades for pro tools and eastwest play
editions.

I have massive problems - when i load more than one instrument it freaks out. the CPU usage levels go crazy when i activate the convolution reverb & it
goes even crazyer.

pro tools dialogue pops up n says that i need to free up ram space - delete instruments.
I have a piano and strings open and playing for 2mins.

is anyone else geting these problems?
seems to me like snowleopard doesn't like MIDI.

i'm gona go back to leopard

any ideas? original image: http://www.soundonsound.com/images/forum/graemlins/confused.gif" target="_blank"">

I have a mac pro dule quad core / 6 gig of ram.

i composed a peace on cubase 5 last year on normal leopard - 50 tracks with no issues.

cheers guys.

No much help in my reply, I can only imagine the time spent trying to upgrade and getting it to work and the stress involved.

I haven't made the Snow Leopard leap on my Pro Tools machine yet, although I have been considering it recently. There hasn't been much blog discussion of bugs. Have you been in touch with Digidesign about your issue?

I've been cheking around - no one seems to have updated to snow / no one's having my problems.

i'm going back to leopard.

this is very frustrating - This is the last thing u need to be wasting time on when you're in your final year of uni.

going back to leopard doesn't work - its protools or eastwest (though eastwest worked with cubase last year)
