at what date will we be able to upload the tracks for the competition? i jumped right on it this afternoon and loaded all the samples into my MPC and recorded the track in real time. i videotaped it showing the samples just so nobody thinks ive cheated, mite not be the best beat ive ever made but its hard when your given a limited supply of samples and you cant add anything to it with your keyboard. it was a fun challenge though, i might upload the video so that people who view my page can check it out. please get back to me on a date when i can post the track

I will Look Forward Listening Scott, as far as Cheating goes, we normally add a description/Breakdown with our track, we all understand That is not just about the Flat samples, and more about sound Shaping, and it only takes a small tone to create a new.

I don't need any more samples to make a track so I've put up my draft. It was heaps of fun - haven't made something from nothing for a while

I Nearly have Mine Finnished, i spent a few hours, maybe a few more Hours needed for the icing on the cake so to speak , but should not be long, so it will more or less Be a matter of this due date.

I would also advise, that all entries are put up for listening at the same time, so as not to give any unfair advatages to those who then know how much they need to up the stakes, i think everyone needs to go in blind and thinking they have done to their personnal best, and also not putting off the begginers etc, its about the taking part and learning new tricks overall, and sharing this.

yes we can have track submission day kind of thing, so deadline could be day-X and tracks can only be uploaded during that day or the day after.

Same for voting... all tracks in the player first then voting will start

I didn't get around to sort out a date and an upload thread yet, I'm super busy with other things at the moment ending up goning to bed at 3am most nights. But I will try to get this competition page sorted out and organised ASAP

Cheers

Well, usually the first price in competitions always has a bigger value. Nothing wrong with that I think

Ops just realised I added a date to the profile I created for the first competition, which means I need to create a new profile to post about the new competition without creating confusion... Doh.. I need to create a new email address before I can do that... ok.. will do! Never mind... just me mumbling loud! :(
