What's with the 'lite' DVD packaging for subscribers?
This months mag - Jan 2010 - arrived with the DVD in a plastic sleeve rather than a slimline DVD case.
What's that all about? I like to get my DVD in a proper case - I didn't subscribe to NOT get a DVD case and AFAIK there is no mention of the fact that you wont get a case if you subscribe.
Subscribers are the most loyal customers - they should get a DVD case and people who buy in the stores not get one. I don't like the idea of getting a second rate product just because I've subscribed.
What's the deal here?

Hi,
I wasn't aware that any mags go out with plastic sleeves - all should go with the usual case, I'll contact the distributors and try to find out why. Apologies in the meantime.

If there's any chance of the distributer sending out a DVD in a case that would be great! Oddly enough the extra DVD did come in a case....

My Jan 2010 mag arrived with DVD82 in a plastic sleeve, and Pro Video Tutorials Collection Vol 1 in a slim case. Thought it was worth noting that DGunner wasn't the only one.
And due to the pressing problem previously reported, both discs were actually DVD82! Lewis has already agreed to send me out a replacement Vol 1 disc, so all's well there.

Ahh - I'd better check and see that I actually have two different discs as I haven't had a chance to check.
Lewis, could you elaborate further on the various disc problems?

Hello all,
It's a bit of a strange one this. Some mags seem to have gone out with duplicate discs (although the labels appear to show they are correct) while others were somehow transposed. Try both discs (I've had a few reports of some mags going out with only one - to further complicate things). If anyone's missing either disc or content, drop me an email including your full address to lewis.brangwyn@anthem-publishing.com and I'll get the right discs out to you. Normal service should resume next month!

Hi there. New to this forum, prompted by the faulty disc issue. My copy came with the "bonus" video disc containing the same exact content as the MTM 82 disc in the plastic sleeve. I have contacted you at the above-mentioned email. Hope I can claim my disc soon. Thanks. Great mag btw, have been buying it for years.

Much to my surprise there was a package in the post today via Royal Mail. I was elated to find that it was the proper Pro Video Tutorial DVD! Thanks MTM for coming through!
