SafeandSound Mastering install new equipment

SafeandSound Mastering have been investing in some high end audio equipment in recent months and have installed a Summit Audio DCL-200 valve compressor and a custom designed analogue mastering equalizer. Metering and Mastering

For the next week or so I feel I should learn more about mastering, using appropriate metering software, spectrum analsys and all that cool stuff. Feel free to add some comments with what you use for metering and to analyse your tracks when mastering, I would like to look into options and make sure I have at least some half decent tool to use.
