Can i release samples without any legal issues???
I am going to be releasing an album soon which includes a drum beat taken from a MusicTechMagazine sample DVD, and am wondering if i have to take and legal action before releasing it? Or is is legal because its a royalty free sample???

Comment by Trickster2D on March 8, 2010 at 2:47pm - the majority of samples that go out on MTM are usually copyright free but if you check the dvd box it came in or the sample folder, there will almost certainly be a note on whether it is free or not.
