Denzul, Thanks for the comment on ''Window Stars''.
For the Window Stars album I decided to run my Acoustic strait in to the Mixer, that way I don't have to worry about mic placement!! The guitar that I have just sounds better run direct. It has a fishman preamp so it has Lot's of power. Glad to share some of my tricks.
Hi Man,
Welcome to the site, lots of interesting Artists up here.
Thanks for the friends add.
Listening to your tunes, very much liking the structuring of the beats. Unpredictable is good, I like stuff that steers away from 4 bars of this and four bars of that.
Pretty good mixing, everything seems to be fitting together well, I do think you could try to push the top end sheen a bit further, this would bring an extra dimension to the tracks. The mix sounds a bit like listening to a tape. Could be a result of MP3-ifying.
What about pushing the top end up as far as you have managed to push the bottom end down ? Try to get stuff going way up into the 20Ks. Honest.
What has happened to the last three tracks ? They sounds about 2mm tall. They are quite a bit quieter than the others.
Good tunes though, liked your stuff, keep up the good work man.
