How would you categorise your musical output?: Dark Drum and Bass inspired by punk, funk, and the blues

What are your favourite pieces of studio hardware?: Macbook Pro and an Axiom 61, lacking and additional hardware at the moment

Which Digital Audio Workstation application do you use?: Reason 4 but play around Garage Band on occasion

What's your favourite digital instrument?: Anything from Reason works with me. I like variety but love nice effects of all sorts.

Who are your musical/production influences or heroes?: Producers = Sam Phillips, DJ Shadow, Butch Vig, Rick Rubin just to name a few
Music = Radiohead, Tool, High Contrast, Aphrodite, Talib Kweli, Rancid, Modest Mouse, Johny Cash and can go on for years with this.

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is WakinBaker (almost went into a Jay-z Song). No need to lie, I'm still at the novice level when it comes to making music. However, I do have a nice ear for what sounds good and plenty of ideas on the drawing board. I like all genres but heavily lean towards drum and bass. I am eager to meet people from all genres, skill levels, and especially locations. In time, I'll post some tracks but not quite ready to put things online yet.
