- How would you categorise your musical output?
- A composer, producer, arranger, recording artist and performer. Coming from a musical family, he studied privately piano and composition with Mrs. Lise Sarkissian, Mrs. Firyal Chedrawi and Mr. Ghassan Yammine.
In 1992 along with Moe Hamzeh and Samer Ibrahim, Mazen formed a rock band “The Kordz”.
Mazen is an active session keyboardist, he has worked, toured and recorded with many notable musicians, bands, and artists: Shirley Johnson, Eddie King, James Armstrong, The Kordz, Blend, SEERS, Star Academy band, The REG project, The Real Deal Blues, The Blues Quest, R’N’B Beirut, Joelle and Friends, Fayrouz, Oumeima, Soumaya Baalbaki, Tania Saleh,
Munir Khauli, Yuri Mrakadi, Diana Haddad.
He has produced and arranged tracks for artists: Elissa, Yara, Cheb Mami, Beirut Biloma, Haitham Saeid, Issa Ghandour, Humam, UNT1, RAmez, Maria; and had the pleasure and honor to do the orchestration of the Iraqi national anthem with the voice of Mr. Ilham El Madfai
Mazen has composed theme music for numerous commercials (Herbal Essences, Silvikrin, Pantene, Dettol, Dove, Toyota, Medgulf, Danon…) and television series:

That is a very impressive profile you have there, very inspiring to say the least.
Listening to your tracks, this has got to be the best production I have heard up here on this site, without a doubt.
T1. Wow, you would have to be deaf not to realise the beauty of this piece, the spectral range is incredible, I could listen to these tracks all day. Every single element is perfect. Stunned.
Fully utilsed spectrum to excellent effect, massive soundstaging.
T2. Man, you are good. Again, this is fantastic music and production, I had to give these tracks the 90db treatment, love the resonant springy bass thing, my Hi Fi loves your tracks. Very interesting, works perfectly. Unusual blend of sounds.
You should put the letter "A" in front of your name.
