Hello People at Music Tech Magazine,

This is just a quick message about the music player.
My player is still not showing up any tracks, which is really annoying, considering a few weeks ago it was working fine.

I really need this player to work fine for me considering i host a monthly challenge called 'Sample Freq Suite', where people come on to my profile and download samples, that will be used to make music with.

So if you can please help me by fixing this annoyance i will be very happy

Thanks for adding CIVILIAN DEATH MACHINE!

...and more importantly, for giving us readers the best articles, reviews, samples, journalism, etc., etc., etc....through your Magazine!

I only came across MTM, some 7 months ago at HMV, and since then, I'm a dedicated and loyal reader! ...and I bought Ableton Live 6/7 because of your in-depth articles!

Thanks,

Meredith Rollo,

Hi guys - thanks for the friend request. Love the magazine - although we here in Oz are way behind the UK - i'm just reading Dec issue now - if i want the current issue i have to pay almost double the price & the news agents in my area only stock about 3 copies. :( This site is great - signed up when i saw the add - it provides an insite to who the readers are and what they're doing and opportunities to make contact with like-minded muso's. I love the freebies too - eg. issue 43 swing jazz drums and big band samples not to mention demo software to try before you buy. It's all good. Cheers Chade

Indeed. Let me be among the first to acknowlege that you have the highest standard of editing among the music mags. SOS is also pretty good on the whole. However, I appreciate the spirit of your reply and relish the opportunity to have a go. I have to admit my interest is largely motivated by a desire to integrate my editing career with my musical inclinations, neglected because of the unfortunate history and state of our nation! I'll obtain a copy of the current issue asap. May the best wordsmith win... BTW your HDSP 9632 review directed me to my finest bit of kit, while your HONEST look (a big problem among the mags: uncritical gear reviews) at the Korg starved-plate 12AX7 stereo preamp/compressor/ADC box was a refreshing example of integrity and a critical ear. I bought it anyway at cost price for recording acoustic guitar in stereo, a task at which it excels, even when clocking a very cheap PCI stereo I/O soundcard with S/PDIF inputs. But otherwise your review nailed its defects. Which is what today's bedazzled home DAW punter really needs. Cheers
